The app is built to work locally on your Android device. The catering setups you create are stored as local app content and may include:
This local content sits within the app on your device and is not automatically transmitted to the developer as part of the core workflow. The app does not require personal identity information for that workflow and does not ask you to create an account or sign in.
Because you enter the content yourself, a pack or note may contain personal information if you choose to include it, such as a guest name or a dietary requirement. Information of that kind stays on your device and is not sent to the developer automatically.
The app allows you to export, copy or share a locally created pack through Android system actions. This happens only when you initiate it, and the resulting file or message goes wherever you choose to send it.
You may also be offered actions that open other applications on your device, such as a browser, an email client, a maps application or the Android share sheet. These open only when you select them, and the external services involved operate under their own privacy practices.
The app does not provide login or account registration, does not process payments, does not offer subscriptions, and does not include monetisation features.
You can delete individual packs inside the app, or clear all local app data from within it. You can also remove everything by clearing the app's data in Android device settings or by uninstalling the application.
MJ Catering helps you plan and organise a catering setup. It does not make authoritative venue, licensing or compliance decisions, and its outputs are informational and administrative aids rather than certification or professional sign-off.
Venue requirements, food handling matters and any licensed-service requirements should be confirmed separately where they are relevant. Nothing in the app or in its outputs constitutes legal, financial, insurance or regulatory advice.
Local packs, drafts and notes remain on your device until you delete them, clear the app's local data or uninstall the application. Files you export or share remain wherever you choose to save or send them.
Local app content is kept within the application on your device rather than held by the company on its own systems. Protecting the device itself, for example through the screen lock you configure, remains your responsibility, and an exported file is as protected as the location you choose to keep it in.
If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, you may have rights under applicable data protection legislation, such as access, correction, deletion and restriction, where those rights apply in law and where personal data is being processed. The app's core workflow keeps your content on your device and does not automatically transmit it to the developer, so that content can usually be managed on the device, through the app's own deletion controls, or by uninstalling the application.
If you contact the company by email, the company receives your email address and whatever your message contains. That correspondence is separate from the app's workflow data, and you may raise questions about it using the contact details below.
The app is intended for users aged 13 and above and is not directed to children under 13. The company does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If such information is identified, reasonable steps will be taken to delete it or otherwise address the situation.
This policy may be revised from time to time. When it changes, the revision date shown alongside it is updated so that you can see which version is current.
